Environmental Protection Agency Fact Sheets
For Older Adults and Caregivers

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released a series of fact sheets intended for older adults and their caregivers which address common chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease that can be made worse by exposure to environmental factors such as air pollution, pesticides, cleaning solutions and excessive heat. These fact sheets are now available in the Polish language as well as fourteen other languages.

The titles of current fact sheets are: Diabetes and Environmental Hazards, Women and Environmental Health, Effective Control of Household Pests, Environmental Hazards Weigh Heavy on the Heart, Planning for Excessive Heat Events, Water Works, and Age Healthier Breathe Easier.
