Polish Constitution Day Schedule of 2009 Events

As the world's Polonia marks the 218th Anniversary of Poland’s May 3, 1791 Constitution, the second oldest Democratic Constitution in the world, you are invited to attend the events taking place in Philadelphia and Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Saturday, May 2, 2009, 1 P.M.

The Polish American Congress, Eastern Pennsylvania District, will mark the 218th Anniversary of Poland’s May 3, 1791 Constitution, at the Polish American Cultural Center, 308 Walnut Street, in historic Philadelphia, PA. Polish Constitution Day Observance, sponsored by the Polish American Congress, Eastern Pennsylvania District, takes place at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, PA. beginning with a Mass at 12:30 P.M. and a Youth Day Program at 2:30 P.M. in the Shrine's Visitors Center. Featured will be performances by Adam Mickiewicz Polish Language School, St. Adalbert Polish Language School, Sloneczniki Children's Folk Dance Group and the P.K.M. Polish Folk Dancers.
