The Polish American Heritage Association of Delaware County, invites everyone to attend the 228th Anniversary Observance of the Polish Constitution at the Historical 1724 Court House in Chester, PA, on Friday, May 3, 2019, at 10:00 A.M.

Commemorative Program, sponsored by the Polish American Heritage Association of Delaware County, PA, takes place at the Historical 1724 Court House, Avenue of the States, Chester, PA.
Everyone is invited! Admission is free.
This event is held every year with members of the Polish Community of Delaware County along with political representatives from the City of Chester and Delaware County.
Please come and feel the history of both the United States and Poland in the historical building, built in 1724, and still being used today. It is documented that “All the great lawyers and judges of Pennsylvania at some time gave services in the Chester Court House. These included Andrew Hamilton, James Wilson, signer of the Declaration, Tench Francis and many more.”

Our guest speaker for the May 3rd celebration, is Richard Piascik, a native Philadelphian who has been active in the Polish American Community. He has been a member of the Polish American Congress, Eastern Pennsylvania District, PKM, and has portrayed General Casimir Pulaski at the Philadelphia Pulaski Day Parade for many years. He has a bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance as well as an MBA from Drexel University. Richard has a successful career in financial management for over 30 years.

Polish Constitution Day Observance, sponsored by the Polish American Congress, Eastern Pennsylvania District, takes place at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, PA. beginning with a Mass at 12:30 P.M. and a Youth Day Program at 2:30 P.M. in the Shrine's Visitors Center. Featuring performances by Adam Mickiewicz Polish Language School, Our Lady of Czestochowa Polish Language School, St. Adalbert Polish Language School, Janosik Polish Folk Dancers and the P.K.M. Polish Folk Dancers. Everyone is invited. Admission is free. Info (215) 922-1700.
