The deadline to make changes in either medical or prescription coverage for Medicare recipients is December 31, 2008. With the upcoming Christmas and New Year Holiday, you are urged to contact the agency as soon as possible. Remember, PASS can assist you in the English and the Polish language. The staff of Polish American Social Services reminds seniors and those on disability with Medicare benefits that the Medicare open enrollment period is from November 15th to December 31st. If you want to make a change from your present health and or prescription plan because of premiums, copays, the donut hole or drugs not covered on formularies, you have until December 31st to make those changes. Don’t delay.
The Pennsylvania PACE/PACENET program, now known as PACE Plus continues to enroll Pennsylvania senior citizens. PACE Plus remains a great prescription plan for seniors in Pennsylvania and works along with Medicare Part D.
