The Polish American Cultural Center Museum, 308 Walnut Street in historic Philadelphia, PA., receives many inquiries about genealogy.
Individuals of Polish descent have always had an interest in their origins and ethnicity and have thought about researching their ancestors - who they were, where they came from, when they immigrated, but they dont know where to begin.
For this reason, the Polish American Cultural Center Museum is presenting a genealogy workshop for beginners on Saturday, October 6, 2007, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at the Center. Ceil Jensen, a national genealogical lecturer, will discuss researching your Polish roots. The cost of he workshop is $35.00.
For additional information about the workshop, contact Theresa Romanowski at the Museum at 215-922-1700, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or email Theresa@PolishAmericanCenter.org.
